I am way behind on blogging so bare with me as I get all updated. We took a little weekend getaway to Midway, Utah couple of weekends ago. I love being able to travel places on weekends and see things we haven’t seen before. We have always talked about going to the Midway Ice Castles but it never fit in our schedule.
It was about a 5 hour drive from us but it was well worth it. We arrived and stay at the Zermatt Hotel (which I highly recommend). We ordered room service and it really was such a nice hotel! I was super bummed because I chose to leave my professional camera at the hotel because I was nervous of trying to handle it and Archer at the same time so we only used our cell phones to snap a few pictures and I wish I would have just brought the nice camera because the pictures aren’t half as good as I wanted them to be. But we were on our way home and we saw the cutest little bridge off the side of the road so we stopped to snap a few pictures of the 3 of us and let Archer run and stretch his legs before the long ride home.
I am ordering myself more of a handheld smaller camera so that I can use it for my pictures rather then my cell phone. It gets so annoying lugging around my big heavy duty one that I always leave it home then kick myself in the butt later on when my cell pictures are crappy. I am stoke to have it arrive and start to use it! Enjoy some pictures and a short video clip from our Midway trip! If your ever in Utah in the winter look up the Midway Ice Castles and go! They really are so incredible and neat to see. But a TIP// Wear decent shoes, actually wear full on snow boots because it was so slick and so deep with snow that I had the hardest time walking because my boots have no traction what so ever. When we first pulled up I saw all these people putting on full snow gear and I thought they were crazy, but after about 30 minutes we were the crazy the ones! So be prepared! —> outfit links are at the bottom!
