I decided long before Wilder was born that I wanted to do family photos before and after his cleft lip repair surgery. I always wanted to have them done at the Bonneville Salt Flats and finally my dream came true. When I pictured what I wanted our family to wear, I wanted it to be light…airy…timeless type of feel. We had just gotten T a new suit for Wilder’s blessing day few months ago in this perfect shade of blue and he looks so good in it that I knew I wanted him to wear it. I decided to just do a simple color scheme of blue, white and tans/brown. With the blue mountains in the background and the white salt flats I knew this was going to be gorgeous. I have been so into light and airy lately that I was stoked to find this gorgeous dress from Ivy City Co. It was perfect for the photos and matched so so good. Thedress itself did somewhat suck but they just released a new batch w/ a better zipper feature.. The zipper wouldn’t zip up and got jammed when I got there so I had to safety pin it shut but it worked out good. So if you are going to order one of the Arabella dresses, I suggest sizing up and making sure the zipper works before you get to your destination. For the boys I wanted something to match that “timeless” feel that I am referring to. I was in a bit of a time crunch but luckily Osh Kosh had the cutest tan pants paired with suspenders in both 0-3 months and 3t for both boys! I also snagged Archer’s shirt there and the bow ties. I will tag the rest of the clothing items down below for you all to check out.
Our photographer was Carolina Lindsay and she did Amazing. Captured our family perfectly and I cannot wait to hang these up on the wall. Scroll down do see all the perfectness!
